The passage of the Nation State Law only enshrines into Israel’s Basic Law what International Law already recognizes.
Under International Law (the Treaty of Sevres) political rights were granted to the Arabs in the Mandates for Mesopotamia (Iraq), Syria and Lebanon. The Arabs were granted independence in these territories, not to mention the fact that Emir Faisal signed the Faisal-Weizmann Agreement and was given independence in the Kingdom of the Hejaz; while the Jewish Community was granted exclusive political rights in the Mandate for Palestine. And lest ye forget, the Arabs of Palestinian Extraction voted for Abdullah I to be their sovereign in December 1948 at the Jericho Conference.
These points cannot be disputed. Faisal agreed to the terms of the San Remo Conference, establishing the Mandate for Palestine as “just and proper” and agreed to the borders of Eretz Yisrael which includes the territories of Gad, Reuven and Menasshe – see the Faisal-Weizmann Agreement Map. The borders extend to just west of the Hejaz Rail Line.
The victors set terms of peace, not the conquered! The Hashemites are the losers and must cede Gad, Reuven and Menasshe to M’dinat Yisrael.
End of story!
