Close to Redemption?

Reuven ben Yitzchak:

Just how close are we to redemption?

Doesn’t the passuk read, “If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the L-RD thy G-D gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee. ” I think we are close because it says in Devarim 30.4 “if any of thy disbursed be in the farthest reaches of heaven….” and we are ‘on the verge‘ of putting Jews on Mars.

MOREOVER, it says, ” ‘At that time I will bring you and at that time I will gather you in, for I will set you up for renown and praise among all the people of the earth, when I bring back your captivity before your own eyes,’ said HaShem.” Zephaniah 3.20

The Captivity of Tzion has been at an end since the end of the Shoah and the Jews of Bavli / from Arab Countries, North Africa and Iran have returned to Eretz Yisrael ….
kol tov,
Yochanan Ezra ben Avraham
