In the daily tamid offering (B’midbar 28.1-8, at passuk [verse] 5) we find the letters which spell the word Pesach (Passover) – 28.5 “and the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.”ה וַעֲשִׂירִית הָאֵיפָה סֹלֶת, לְמִנְחָה, בְּלוּלָה בְּשֶׁמֶן כָּתִית, רְבִיעִת הַהִין. meaning that the tamid is to remind us twice a day of Pesach.
