When she was having an “episode,” he was the best at calming her down.
Hello – My name is Gila Bracha. I have the blessing of being a mother of 11 wonderful children, and until last week, the wife to Rabbi Yitzchok Bracha.  After a long and extremely difficult journey with cancer, he passed away. It started in his stomach, then spread to his shoulder, his legs, and ultimately his brain. He was niftar on shabbos – Hatzolah came and were unable to resuscitate him.   I am now left very afraid for our future. Raising 11 children is something I never dreamed I would need to do… My daughter Tsofia is severely disabled. She really struggles in life, and my husband a”h was the best with comforting her, and helping her to function. She can’t be left with a babysitter for even a moment. How will I support a home when I cannot leave her side?

We also have a son who is engaged. Of course, we have nothing to give him. Between the simcha and the tragedies, the blessing of having a large family and now the nisayon of raising them alone – How will we live?   Please help us, Hashem. Please help, klal yisroel. Thank you.
