The Jewish Year 5708 (1948)

Moshiach (The Messiah) is the “prototype (as it were) for Adam Rishon” before the sin of the tree of knowledge and the expulsion from Gan Eden. Moshiach comes to rectify that transgression and make tikkun for the sins of the Children of Yisrael in B’midbar (in the wilderness). Adam is an acronym for Aleph= Adam, Dalet= David, Mem Sofit= Moshiach. King David was born in the 2,854th Jewish Year Since Creation of Adam and Chavva (Eve). King David lived for 70 years.

2854 (BCE) + 2854 (JYC)= 5708 (1948).

Israel was declared a sovereign state in 1948. This is the Jewish year 5708. Deuteronomy 30 verse 5 is the 5708th verse of the Bible. Is this coincidence? Deuteronomy 30 verse 5: “And the L-RD thy G-D will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.”

King David ruled in Hebron for seven years and over all Yisrael for thirty three years. I Kings 2:11 cites the length of the reign of King David: “The days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years in Hebron, and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.”

Add forty (40) years to 1948 and one comes up with 1988. 1988 Likud took control of power in Israeli politics; with Yitzchak Shamir as PM.

Add seven (7) years to 1948 and one comes up with 1955.

13 February – Israel obtains four of the seven Dead Sea scrolls, which had been discovered in the caves in and around the ruins of the ancient settlement of Khirbet Qumran on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea in the Judean Desert.

Add thirty three (33) years to 1948 and one comes up with 1981.

7 June – Operation Opera: Eight Israeli F-16s, escorted by F-15s, attack and severely damage Osirak, an Iraqi nuclear reactor under construction near Baghdad, which Israeli military intelligence maintain was built by the regime of Saddam Hussein for the purpose of plutonium production to further an Iraqi nuclear weapons program.[3] Israeli intelligence also believed that the summer of 1981 would be the last chance to destroy the reactor before it would be loaded with nuclear fuel.

30 June – The Likud party led by Menachem Begin wins the 10th Israeli legislative elections.

  1. Another version has it as Deuteronomy 30:5 is actually the 5715 verse. When you convert May 14, 1948 into the biblical Hebrew calendar, you get 5 Iyarr 5708. Iyarr is the Biblical 2nd month, so we get 5+2+5708= 5715. G-D bless….
